We have provided these at this time in your academic years to emphasize the need to begin working toward your college goals NOW! The classes you select, the grades you get NOW, all will begin to qualify you for scholarships. Begin to investigate colleges and scholarships available, and then research the scholarship requirements so that starting with your first year of high school, you have your plan in place and will be that much farther ahead than those who do not plan.

Arizona Department of Education 'Honors Endorsement/Tuition Waiver'

A statewide task force, representing ADE, the three state universities, district and charter high school principals, counselors, teachers, and The College Board, has developed an implementation plan for the administration of this scholarship program by ADE, in partnership with the Arizona Board of Regents. The first scholarships will be awarded to qualified high school graduates beginning with the Class of 2006.

Qualified students will receive a full state university tuition waiver valid for one year following graduation from high school. The scholarship is renewable for four years based upon university-determined criteria. The actual dollar amount of the scholarship will vary based upon the tuition charged by the state university in which they have enrolled. Click here to obtain more information.
